Hooo boy, he's just yummy, isn't he? I recommend Gormenghast if you haven't seen it. I had some issues with the direction and I think he wildly overdid some parts (I think that, at one point, he actually goes "MWAHAHAHAAAA!") but it's still fun and interesting.
