I get connections to my dad not infrequently. I am at a point in my life where I have no idea what I believe happens after death and in a way I don't care to know. I have come to realize that there are certain events that have been happening all over the world since even before "recorded" history (unless you count cave paintings as recordings which I sort of do) that fall into nearly identical patterns of what could be considered spiritual experiences. Wow. That's a horribly awkward sentence, but I don't feel like rewording it. Sorry. ;-) Anyway, I think it is possible that what we call spiritual and what we call scientific could meet in the middle. In fact, until fairly recently that's how most people viewed them. I believe it's more than coincidence or wishful thinking, but I personally suspect it's less than magic or gods. It's really hard for us humans to accept that there are aspects of reality that we can't prove, explain, or even see- and rightfully so when you consider how much we can prove and explain. All I know is that when I get something from my dad I just feel happy, even if it makes me cry.

About TSD- she sounds like a character in a Saturday Night Live skit. Too funny. I love that you dragged her sorry ass in to see the supervisors. I can't fathom someone like that being drawn into the healing arts, but then you've described several that blow my mind.
